Background: Since her election to Melksham town council in 2023, Charlie Stokes has been a hardworking local councillor for Melksham East. As an ex-military family, Melksham was the perfect place to put down roots when she moved here 13 years ago.
She is committed to creating positive change, particularly for housing association tenants, young people, and local families. She is championing the creation of Melksham’s first-ever Youth Advisory Board, ensuring that the voices of young people are heard in important decisions shaping our future. Charlie’s priorities for the future are to make our roads and crossings safer, hold housing developers to account, and clean up our environment.
