Trevor grew up in Somerset and attended Durham and Leeds Universities. He worked as an archaeologist, and in 1991 he married Olga, a Russian journalist, then qualified as a driving instructor. They settled in West Wiltshire, where Trevor was elected to the District Council in 1995, and has served as a councillor ever since. He has stood up for residents time and time again. Following the boundary changes in 2021, he now represents Atworth, Holt and Staverton. Outside of councillor duties, Trevor volunteers for the Link Scheme, driving people to their appointments. He also is a trustee for Wiltshire Rural Music and a judge for CPRE’s Best Kept Villages.
