Emma Calland

Town Councillor for Melksham South

Emma is the Melksham town councillor for the South Ward. She was co-opted to the council in 2025. 

Emma says, "My background is in teaching and education management especially with those who had barriers to learning and were at risk of exclusion or after exclusion from mainstream education.

I'm disabled and have significant health issues so that coupled with my work experience makes me an advocate for those who feel excluded and underrepresented in society. A champion for the vulnerable and overlooked."
