MP Newsletter #15: One year on
Dear reader,
One year ago today you put your trust in me to be your Member of Parliament.
It has been the greatest honour of my life.
I do not take a single constituent for granted – whether you voted for me or not.
And it has been a pleasure to advocate for all of my constituents over the last 12 months.
Along with my team we have handled over 8,000 cases (that’s about 22 a day!) and exchanged more than 30,000 emails with and on behalf of constituents.
I’ve held almost 30 in-person advice surgeries and met with hundreds of constituents and dozens of organisations and businesses.

Every single day I will continue to advocate on your behalf and to work hard to improve the lives of all of us here in Wiltshire.
And I’ve been pushing hard for practical action—like better flood resilience, investment in our schools and our doctors surgeries, and defending our precious countryside while backing our local farmers.
While I will always hold government to account, my priority remains serving the people in my constituency.
There’s more to do—but with your support, I’ll keep delivering for our community.
Let’s keep moving forward—together.
Best wishes,
Brian Mathew MP
