As a countryside management professional and community advocate, Alex has spent his career working with farmers, foresters and charitable trusts to protect our natural spaces and cultural heritage, improving access to local landscapes and bringing people together.
He’s also managed projects, budgets, and volunteer teams, ensuring that practical solutions make a real difference on the ground.

Gardening, alongside meditation and music, are Alex’s hobbies, providing sanctuary. He helps run local clubs in his village and loves to learn new things. Alex gets his fresh air by walking or cycling in his ward and beyond!
