Our high streets are in decline. Small and independent businesses are struggling under a toxic mix of high rents, business rates and soaring utility bills. Empty shops are an increasingly common sight. Reported shoplifting has increased, leaving many more struggling to cover their losses. High streets are the life and soul of our communities, yet they’ve been let down by the Labour Government. The Lib Dems are calling on the Government to support Wiltshire Council and our high streets.
